Author Brian Conn has been selected to receive the annual Bard Fiction Prize for 2013. Conn will be awarded $30,000 and will join Bard as writer in residence next semester. He won the prize for his debut novel,
The Fixed Stars, a work of experimental science fiction that our judges call "wondrous."
